Excursions:

Can Genassa Riding Club organizes one hour excursions for beginners. We advise complete beginners to train and practice with the horse inside the ring for half an hour before going out.

And for those more experienced we offer the possibility of excursions that can last between 1 hour and 1 day.

In the 2 hour excursion we ride across fields and through forests in La Garrotxa until we arrive to the small church of Santa Magdalena (12th century), located on top of a hill with fantastic views onto the plain of Alt Empordà and the bay of Rosas.

The half day excursion will take us to the charming village of Crespià (in the county of Pla de l’Estany). We will be riding along river Fluvià most of the way and we’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of this forest.

In the 1 day excursions before we go out riders have their first contact with the horse while they get them ready for the day. The first part of the trip will last around 3 hours after which we’ll be having a picnic in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by nature, then we’ll ride back for another 2 hours.

Riding tours:

In Can Genassa Riding Club we can organize 7 day tours around the counties of La Garrotxa, Alt Empordà and Plà de l’Estany, with professional guides who can speak Catalan, English and German. During these tours you’ll be riding 5 or 6 hours a day and you’ll be staying at rural homes and hotels.

Our horses are very well trained and looked after and their good character and professional dressage make the pleasure of our customers.

Horse keeping:

The owner who wishes to leave his horse here to be looked after he can choose one of the following options:
Semi-freedom (together with other horses), paddock (only for him) or in a boxer.
In the Riding Club there is a track of 20m wide x 40m long and a ring of 18m wide available for you.
 

At the same time you’ll be able to ride your horse across the fields and forests of the area and enjoy the peace and beauty of our countryside.

Prices:

§ 1 hour excursion: 25 €
§ 1 hour excursion + ½ hour class: 35 €
§ Half day excursion: 50 €
§ 1 day excursion: 75 €

§ Horse keeping semi-freedom: 150 €
§ Horse keeping paddock and boxer: 200 €
